Ardmore House

Designed by noted Southern Highlands Architect, Martin McGrane, Ardmore House embraces contemporary thinking. The house was created with the surrounding views in mind embracing simplicity, functionality, and a harmonious relationship with its surroundings. It stands as a fine example of contemporary architecture in the Southern Highlands.

Tall glass and sandstone walls are conduits fostering a harmonious connection between the interior and the dramatic near 360-degree views to the Blue Mountains and surroundings.

Inside, the interior spaces are open and flexible, with an emphasis on functionality and an absence of superfluous decoration. Natural light illuminates the interiors, creating a seamless integration with the surrounding environment. The building is blessed by the change of light throughout the day; the fluctuating colour of the local landscape leaves an indelible mark on the observer.
